CRi’s multispectral unmixing approach represents a dramatic development in fluorescence microscopy. Not only does it allow for the use and detection of many molecular labels simultaneously, but by removing the confounding effects of autofluorescence, it can provide up to a 300-fold increase in sensitivity, often turning seemingly negative results positive. In preclinical small animal imaging, this equates to being able to detect and track tumor growth at a much earlier stage than previously possible. CRi’s polarized light imaging solutions provide non-invasive visualization and inspection of critical structures within living gametes and cells to help assess viability and monitor behavior without the addition of potentially perturbing labeling agents.
